For T5 Drive-E vehicles with the ECO+ Mode engaged, Start/Stop switches off the engine momentarily when the driver's foot is on the brake and the vehicle slows to 4 mph (6 km/h). Hi, I have a V40 2017 D3 with the 6-speed Aisin box, and wonder if disabling the start/stop put extra stress on the gearbox when the car is stationary. Will the gearbox just spin and generate heat or does it automatically go into neutral. Best, Christian New Module v4.1 for VOLVO.

Har tatt dette opp med Volvo i Norge. De påstår at det ikke går å koble ut start stopp funsksjonen, noe som jeg synes er merkelig. Start og stopp  Med Start/Stopp-funktion stängs motorn tillfälligt av vid när bilen har stannat t.ex. vid ett trafikljus eller i en bilkö, och startar sedan automatiskt igen då färden fortsätter.

That said, it might be an easy way to disable start/stop on Volvo vehicles too. I'll have to do a bit more research when I eventually get my XC40.

Dan Enligt Dagens Industri skulle Volvo Cars fabrik i Gent, Belgien, startat igen 6 april, och fabriken i Charleston, USA, skulle startat igen den 14 april.
